Damian Cordaie is the founder of Cordaie Paralegal Services. As a licensed paralegal, Damian decided to start a firm that specializes in helping people who have been wronged. Prior to starting his own firm, he served in the Canadian Armed Forces for many years. Unfortunately, he had to retire due to a spinal injury he sustained during active duty.
However, this setback didn't stop him from pursuing his passion for helping others. He decided to become a licensed paralegal because he wanted to use his knowledge and skills to make a difference in people's lives. His experience in the military has taught him the importance of perseverance, determination, and dedication. These values have carried over into his legal practice, where he strives to provide the best possible representation for his clients.

Damian has a diverse range of experience in the legal field, including working for a top criminal defence lawyer (now judge) in the Greater Toronto Area, who also taught criminal law at Humber College (now teaching at Centennial College), and specializing in complex civil litigation, criminal defence, tribunals, among others.
Damian was one of the first applicants accepted into the first Family Legal Services Provider (FLSP) program, which allows specially trained paralegals to provide certain legal services in family law matters. This includes assisting clients with process navigation in family court, completing applications for joint and uncontested divorces, and preparing and arguing motions to change child support (based on the payor's "line 15000/T4 slip" income).
Once authorized as an FLSP, (expected June 2025) by the Law Society of Ontario, he will also be able to respond to support enforcement proceedings, file domestic contracts and prepare change of name applications.
